Joy Lovette is Director of Client Relations.

Before Joy joined Garrett, Perkins & Horton in 2024, she worked in the field of education as a teacher, tutor, and office manager. Through years of working with children and their families Joy brings to GPH excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the desire to meet each client’s individual needs. It is always important to Joy that these things are done with a positive attitude and a smile.

Born and raised in Charlotte, NC, Joy graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a BS in Early Childhood Education. She moved to Birmingham with her husband Barry in 2000. They have two adult daughters, Shelby and Sela. In her time away from work, Joy enjoys watching Carolina basketball, getting together with friends, and playing with her dogs.
