My name is Jackson Powers. I am the newest Paraplanner here at Gerrett, Perkins, Horton Advisory Partners.

I was born and raised here in Chelsea, Alabama. 

Growing up here in Alabama, I have always had a love for high school and college athletics. 

That brought me to Full Sail University where I earned a bachelor’s degree in sports broadcasting. Going down the broadcasting route taught me the importance of being comfortable with conducting myself in a professional way. Thankfully in this business I’m not having to stare into a blank camera Lense, and I get to be face to face with people. 

With my sports background and passion for it, I hope to bring that into my professional career here and serve some of the best high school and collegiate athletes.

Being a sports fan takes up majority of my free time, but if I’m not at a game or watching one I enjoy getting out and playing some golf and trying to pursue the never-ending quest to become good at it. 

I am eager and excited to learn from some of the best advisors in the area, meet some of the clients and continue to help GPH grow.
